Who are Philip Brain Associates?
Established in 1994 Philip Brain Associates have been at the forefront of promoting competence-based assessment within the quarrying industry during that time. We have been involved in implementing & managing large multi-site assessment schemes for Specialised Plant & Machinery Operations & Process Operations at level 2 for many of the larger quarrying companies in the UK.
We are now the leading and most established assessment provider for SHE management NVQs in the UK mineral processing industries. Our dedicated assessment team have a wealth of practical experience in quarry management & mineral operations both in the UK and abroad. In addition PBA were originally commissioned by the Institute of Quarrying to develop and write the national occupational standards forming the basis of the qualifications.
Because of our specialised knowledge & expertise within this unique & changing industry we are an ideal choice of assessment provider for your company - whether you wish to run your own in-house NVQ system or would rather use an external provider.
Philip & Gavin are both actively involved in developmening competence within the UK Quarrying industry in their capacity as External Verifiers for EMP Awarding Body.
