HSE Requirements for Shotfirer and Explosives Supervisor

The Health & Safety Executive have issued guidance on the requirements for all individuals involved in Shotfiring & Explosives Supervisor roles. Learning & Development NVQs levels 3 & 4

PBA are an approved NVQ provider for Learning & Development level 3 & 4. The full NVQs comprise a number of units for the training professional, PBA offer the full award and also unit certification. This is of particular interest to individuals who carry out MPQC(formally EPIC) or CPCS plant licencing assessments.

MPQC require all licence scheme assessors to hold units L12 & L13. The CPCS scheme requires assessors to hold L9, L11, L12 & L13.

These units require practical demonstrations of skills and applied knowledge and lend themselves to observation. PBA is planning to hold a number of assessment workshops in locations around the UK depending on demand. Please contact us using the contact page for further details & dates.

Plant Operations Level 2 with ITSSAR Accredited Training

PBA have recently strengthened their team of assessor associates and are now able to offer potential clients S/NVQ Plant Operations level 2 for 'Lifting & Transferring'. This route is suitable for operators of all catagories/sizes of lift truck and telehandlers. In addition, through our assessor associates PBA can also offer ITSSAR accredited training for lift trucks, telehandlers and other catagories of mobile plant including wheeled front end loaders and other types of quarry plant.
