The extractive & mineral processing industries now have a new and independent Awarding Organisation for End Point Assessment of Apprenticeships.
EMPI Awards have been accepted onto the Register of End Point Assessment Organisations by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA); and are recognised by the qualifications regulator, Ofqual, as an End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for: Mineral Processing Mobile & Static Plant Operator.
EMPI Awards is a fresh, new, independent Awarding Organisation brought to the sector by Philip Brain Associates Limited, widely regarded as industry experts in the development & delivery of occupational & vocational competence assessment. This experience has enabled the development & formation of this new Awarding Organisation.
Philip Brain Associates Limited will continue to provide vocational competence consultancy & assessment to UK extractive & mineral processing companies. This allows EMPI Awards to focus on providing a credible, independent and alternative Apprenticeship End Point Assessment service. Thus negating potential internal conflicts of interest which could arise from other apprenticeship training involvement.
Depending on demand from Apprenticeship employers and providers, EMPI Awards hope to grow their portfolio of End Point Assessment qualifications, offering the industry and related industries a choice of End Point Assessment Awarding Organisations.
